CHAD STOCK / Winemaker
In 2006 Chad Stock graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Enology from California State University Fresno followed by an externship at Rudd Estate Winery in Oakville, CA. With a passion for cold climate winemaking, he moved north to Oregon in 2007 to join the team at Antica Terra in Dundee.
By 2011, imagining greater diversity for the Willamette Valley industry, Chad founded his own winery and consulting company, Minimus. With this new venture, he planned to explore the potential of wine styles and grape varietal options through farming and wine production experimentation. In 2016 he co-founded Craft Wine Company in Carlton to become the home for Minimus, Omero Cellars, and his newest brand Origin. In 2019 Chad joined the David Hill team to pursue producing the finest possible wines from some of the oldest vines in the Willamette Valley. |
