Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a reservation?

While we do accept walk-ins, our tasting room has limited availability. If you would like to stay and taste with us, please make a reservation to ensure a spot for your group before you arrive. 

If you would like to purchase bottles, or pick up a wine club allotment, there is no need for a reservation. 


*Note: same day reservations cannot be made online. Please call the tasting room for same day reservations. 503-992-8545

Can I reserve a space for more than 6 people?

Groups larger than 6 require pre-approval due to the table sizes of our tasting room. 
Email [email protected] for approval. Please include non-drinkers/children in your total head count. 
These groups are subject to our Large Group Policy: One check for the party, 20% gratuity included.

Can I bring children and pets to David Hill?

Yes! Children are welcome to join adults, we just ask that an adult accompanies the children at all times. 
Dogs are also welcome outside, we just ask that they stay on a leash and next to their human(s).
Dogs are NOT allowed inside the tasting room at this time.  


Note: If you bring entertainment for children or pets, we ask that you do not bring anything that might fly through the air. 
Can I bring my own food?

Unfortunately at this time we do not allow outside food. 
We do offer a range of small bites for sale, including vegetarian and vegan options.

How to I make a reservation for an event?

If you would like to make a reservation for an event, please email [email protected]. Include your name, which event you would like to attend, and complete headcount.

What happens if there's bad weather on the day of my outdoor reservation?

If inclement weather prevents us from hosting your reservation outdoors, we’ll do our best to accommodate you indoors, based on availability. If indoor space is not available, we’ll work with you to reschedule. 
Does David Hill ship wine? 

Yes! We ship to many but not all states. If you want to double check that we can ship to your state, give us a call or email [email protected]
